A southern California native, Justin is an international award winning tattoo artist. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy at age 17 and served 12 years. He graduated with SWCC class 30 in 1999 and completed Selection and Training for Naval Special Warfare Development Group in 2004.

Justin started tattooing while on active duty and hasn't stopped since. Upon completion of his enlistment he moved to Los Angeles to hone his craft in the mecca of tattooing, and to attend Art school. Justin earned his BFA ('15) and MFA ('17) from Otis College of Art and Design.
